Sometimes they’re purely reflex, born of habit, nurtured by time and entrenched by routine.

Yes they may keep bad vibes out, but it’s sad when they screen the good ones too. 

Who wants to miss out on such a fantastic connection as you? 

Not me.

So I’m sorry, for the indiscriminate nature of my barriers, and this is me hoping I get another chance to throw my gates wide open, so you can experience the beautiful gardens laid out behind my high walls. 

Not that I deserve it, but will you come back that we may again see sights together?

I hope you read this, and I hope you understand.

I’ll do better, so much better.
